UPDATE TO VOTING PROCEDURE:

Due to unforeseen circumstances, our office will be temporarily closed to the public.  However, we will make every effort to accommodate our residents and landowners so that they can vote for their candidate(s) running for a seat on the Mahoning SWCD Board.  Before you come to the office, please call 330.740.7995 to notify us that you will be in and we will meet you in the parking lot.  If you would rather vote absentee, please leave a message and we will get back to you so that a ballot can be sent to your address.  Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Going forward ORC 940.39 was added with the passage of HB 340. ORC 940.39 allows the SWCD board to conduct meetings by video conference or, if video conference is not available, by teleconference. As a result of the COVID pandemic, video and telephone conferences are nothing new. However, know that this ORC change will allow for SWCD board meetings to be conducted by video conferences or teleconference into the future beyond the COVID pandemic.
